THE METAMORPHOSIS
Suspended on the cremaster, the chrysalis dreams of imago. For two days the future quiescent nymph will oscillate forming an infinity with its head and will turn on itself every six seconds, braiding and wrapping itself in a golden silk thread that will protect it during its dramatic metamorphosis.
The chrysalis thread, from the Greek "chrisos", is a prodigy of nature. Fifteen hundred meters of radioprotective material, as resistant as steel, but capable, nevertheless, of expanding tens of times its size, hide the precocious hypsipyle in its labyrinthine and initiatory odyssey.
The butterfly represents for most millenary cultures the symbol of transmutation and transfiguration. Induced by the E93 metamorphosis gene, the butterfly is the only living creature that modifies its DNA three times and completes its migration over three generations.
ARIADNA'S THREAD
The body massage "Chrysalis Thread" transcends the formal limits of conventional aesthetic massage. Its creator, ESTIBALIZ BLANCO, inspired by Borges' poem "The thread of the fable", dreams of Ariadne, wrapping the bodies with a magical thread, which when unfolded makes them connect with themselves, and come out, like a butterfly, from the labyrinth of time that hides its beauty.
